Nicknamed “the City of a Hundred Spires,” it's known for its Old Town Square, the heart of its historic core, with colorful baroque buildings, Gothic churches and the medieval Astronomical Clock, which gives an animated hourly show.

Visa
• Visa requirements: o The passport must be valid for a minimum of 3 months after the intended stay, issued within the last 10 years and have at least 2 blank pages o Travel medical insurance for the whole period of stay. o Original bank account statements with an official bank stamp and signature and translations of the statements, showing activity over the last 6 months, or proof of other assets o Visa costs EGP 8,000 per person.
